As above really. looking to purchase my first evo soon, ideally after a modified one, with a bit extra power over standard. Currently 24, with 4 years ncb, licence 7 years.
Im 25 later this year but policy is due up on current car and would prefer not to keep it any longer, as would prefer something more grown up and for built what it was designed for.

Thanks in advance

Oli :)

Good evening, beat bet is try the price comparison websites, that's all I did. Direct line are good but won't cover under 21 on Evo, I'm with admiral and have been since I was 24 it all boils down to location and NBC if I'm honest

thanks for the reply, yes admiral have given me the best quotes on all evo quotes so far, £1076 for a 9 fq360 for example, confirmed quote on an 8 mr fq340 today for £961 aswell. what are they like for mods, mainly performance mods?? car in question is originally an fq330 but running 390bhp

Im 22, with admiral. On an evo 4 with a few mods, only basics though, intake, exhaust, wheels etc. Price doesnt change too much with those mods, dont know about much higher power though.

Yeah I've still got brentacre and flux to try yet see what they say, greenlight didn't want to know due to age either

I dont think most "specialist" insurers will quote very well until your 25.

Got a feeling you may be right, will give them a try anyway, not wanting to renew insurance on current car as going to be for sale soon and insurance on Evo is cheaper aswell
