rear window vents

I always wanted a set of these for my IX but there have been a couple of occassions when out driving where I've put the rear windows down by mistake when meaning to do the front ones lol, so I dont think they'd last long on mine :blush:

Are they not wedged in place? I do the same thing and put the wrong windows down and would be gutted to lose all that hard work I paid lee to do do for me on the m1 lol

I don't know about Lee's design but the ones you can buy from Rexpeed etc look like they're just held in by the window being closed. Could be wrong though, it'd be nice to find out I guess

Either way, if Lee's stay in then that's a definite plus point

ive see some carbon vent and they just dont sit flat against against the glass.

mine as yo can see are the same size and thickness as the glass so they fit nice and snug in the rubbers and over the glass.
ive stuck my fingers through the holes and tried to pull them out but you just cant.
can the same be said for the rexspeed ones with there flimsy clips which to be fair ive seen sets for sale with broken clips so what does that tell you

I've spent alot of time on these. Tweaking bits here and there and trying to find the best way to hold them together cos wouldn't want them to fall apart after one use.

Then lots of fiddly jobs to get them to where they are now. Few errors along the way but that's what perfecting something is all about
