Just dropped the Evo off at bodyshop as they have all the new parts. They reckon it will be about a week before I get it back as they want to get it perfect.

Undecided if I want to put carbon "Evolution VIII" decals on or wheter to leave the boot badgeless???

And I've ended up with a 61 plate 1.25 Fiesta as a courtesy car!!! So slow!!!:disgusted:

I'd go for the carbon badges. I think they look pretty cool. Especially on a red car.

glad to see it's getting sorted !! as for badges totally down to personal preference i like em but some people don't, it's what you like at the end of the day as your gonna be the one driving it.

To be honest I will probably put carbon fibre badges on it. Didn't want the bodyshop puttin the new ones on and then me peeling them back off and wasting them just to replace them with carbon ones.

It also lets the people behind know they have been beaten by an Evo!!! lol

think the MITSIBISHI V111 and the mitzi logo are £35. IM SO SURE YOU WILL LIKE IT ILL BE PREPARED TO GIVE YOU YOUR MONEY BACK IF YOU DONT LIKE IT :awesome:

Yh carbon badges look great. Keep it simple with just the evolution v111 and that looks crisp.

I painstakingly masked off and sprayed my badges black looks great

Well finally got my Evo back all fixed and shiny!!! :awesome:

Just need to get a new number plate for the back as the other one has screw holes in it and want to stick the rear plate on with double sided tape and need to refit the mudflaps and carbon exhaust trim.

Will get a couple of pics up when done.

After a week and a half of driving the fiesta I jumped back into the Evo yesterday and nearly put myself through the windscreen when i pressed the brakes! lol

For the Fiesta being brand new the brakes are shocking!:wtf:

Pmsl !! I drove chez's fiesta the other week and omfg the brakes practically ain't there lol, I needed to brake 200 yards from anything in order for the car to stop in time :shock::shock: and no power steering I felt like pop eye after driving it for an hour !!

I had an 11 plate Fiesta Titanium the last time the Evo was in getting the AYC pump fitted and the brakes were a lot better on that. I think it had discs on the back whereas the 61 plate Zetec I just had had drums on the back.

i was given one of the older shape fiesta's before and from what i can remember each pedal seemed to have a delay inc the brakes i even took the thing back and asked em to check it out they said it was fine, so i think its just a ford thing lol.

like you say it served a purpose aye.

Yeah done the brakes so now they are sharper than a sharp thing!!! lol
Fitted dump valve aswell a few days before it went in.

All fixed and shiny!!!

Well back to normal now!!! Think it looks quite bare without the badges so think I'll go for black ones instead of silver or carbon fibre.
