As you'd be aware some weeks ago i went to Essex with Dan to pick up his Evo V, it had a rear brace/bar fitted in the boot. It was fitted to the chassis using the two gold bolts right at the rear of the car. Can anyone tell me what it is. I heard it was fitted to Evo VI TME only this true?

If so, what are they worth and how can i get my hands on one?

It is a Rear Brace which helps against chassis flex.

There are various types available for the Evo including one that fits across the rear passenger foot wells/floor space.

The one that you are enquiring about will cost from £60 to £160 depending on whether it is in used condition or new.

Not really something that is required Mark unless you plan on regular track day use.

as it happens i was rummaging in the extra tools today, all they appear to be are random spanners, spark plug socket and a couple of different screwdrivers, if i have double of anything of interest you can just have it mate. ill try and pop over tomorrow if i get time, just need to finish building a fence first!
