Just changed my rear discs and pads as the pads were low. I replaced them with Pagid discs and pads.
There was no shims on the old pads and there was no squeal at all.

New ones were fine for around 50 miles then started to squeal worse than ive ever heard on any car. I removed the pads and rounded off edges and put more copper grease on back of pads. Fine again for about 50 miles then squealling again (Cant use the car with this it is so bad :disgusted:)

I was goin to buy some brembo pads to try instead. Do the shims make that much of a diifference in stopping brake squeal i see its quite common on evos.
