Re-lacquering front splitter & rear spoiler

Hi all,
how hard is it to refurb the front splitter & rear spoiler Carbon fibre lacquer on a 9?
have got my local bodyshop to have a look but he hasn't refurbed CF before so is a bit wary of f****ing it up.
Easy enough or a pain?
Any info greatly received.
