You know in the boot of a evo 8 on the opposite side to where you put your water spray in.....whats that and whats it for? Looks like oil to me.

You shouldn't!

And its your washer fluid in the boot, not the intercooler spray, thats in the engine bay.

Could i just top it up or would it need draining and all fluid replaced?

Think it's 45k intervals for a change. But no harm in doing it. Do a search on here and you'll find out how to bleed it through

Mate im useless with cars the only thing i do is fill it up and drive it, its due a service in 4 month and its got 44k miles on it now...so if its ok and not harmful i will top it up until then.

You shouldn't need to touch it in between services. It's a sealed system so doesn't loose any.
