Hello all

I am looking at a evo vll GT-A and been looking at getting temp cover to see how much it will cost me to get it home now not many web sites even pick up the car on there sites apart from one and when i put the reg in its only coming up as Mitsubishi lancer evolution vll rs2 fq-30 1997cc 4dr - Petrol (2002-2003) is this correct ?

You need to look at what it goes by on the log book, mines an evo 4 gsr and all the insurance company's say it's an evo 4 rs,they all told me to go by the log book when I argued it.....

Most companies are crap at identifying import motors. Better of getting a specialist to sort you out

Thanks guys for your replys i am going to get a mate to take me down with his car trailer if the lad takes my offer been a long day trying to see if i can get temp cover and none wanted to know unless i was willing to take out of full policy with them i find shocking as know wounder some people take the risk on driving a car home without any insurance cover just not able to take out full policy due to funds if the sale goes ahead.

most companies as said cant tell their head from their ass so i wouldnt worry as long as the reg and general description is correct thats enough
