Pulling to the side

Hey, I recently bought an Evo x FQ300 and it seems to be pulling both left and right when driving (and breaking). It seems to be worse on uneven roads which are patched up with different tarmacs and feels like it's on a track (train lines) if that makes sense? I have previously driven STI's and TT Quattro's so my first thought was the AWD was out, but someone has mentioned the AYC pump could be the problem? The car is drifting and wheel spinning. The tyres fitted are Avant so I'm wondering if I need to replace to some higher grade but I wondered if anyone else has had similar problems? I am trying to work out the prob by elimination and as I bought the car from a Mitsubishi dealership I am hoping it's not a damaged rod end or buckled wheel.
Can anyone help?

What's the tread like on all the tyres?

I've had similar and tackled in this order

Geometry setup
Replace front shocks
Rotate tyres

Mine turned out to be bad tyre wear whilst a shock was faulty, rotating them sorted.

I've also had what felt like 4 wheel steering when both rear wheels were toeing right slightly

sounds like a bad setup to me, as already said have the geo' setup first, i have been amazed at what some garages call 'set up' on these cars. if your ayc was a problem you would have all 3 lights on the dash, they are very tempermental and pick up any faults and let you know about it.

and it wont harm to check your tyre pressures too

Cheers guys. I took the car to ATS to check the AWD, they couldn't do as they did not have the specs on the software but checked the rod ends and all was fine. They felt the prob may be the tyres and recommended fitting higher spec and filling with nitrogen. They felt the car may be too powerful for the tyres and they also said it's very unusual for a car to be wheel spinning and not gripping if its anything other than the tyres. They quoted 4 Michelin's for £700 but I'm gonna shop around. I still want to check the AWD just in case. I always check tyre pressure, tread is ok I guess, but not perfect and as 1 tyre is a Yokohama and 3 are Avant so I'm hoping replacing all 4 and checking alignment will sort the problem.
There are no warning lights thankfully so all seems fine there. I did buy from a Mitsubishi dealer so all checks should have been carried out (they claim that anyway). Problem is I bought it from Fareham near Portsmouth and I live in Bolton, Manchester so can't really take it back to get checked over. My closest dealership would be Warrington, I spoke to them and they don't have the equipment to check AWD

Don't spend a penny until you get the alignment checked. I bought mine (also EVO X) from a dealer and the alignment didn't look like it had even be done, it was all over the place, looks like they fitted the suspension and didn't set it up. Steering wheel wasn't straight, very unstable under breaking etc. The worrying thing is that the previous owner drove it like this and thought it was ok? lol Just cos you bought it from a dealer don't think that means the car is ok.
