power loss hissing noise

Hi my 8mrfq300 making hissing noise and no powrr help please???

Check boost pipes and all inter cooler joins for splits or being loose
Do you have a dump valve it may be stick open

+1 check all boost pipes and check your dump valve isnt stuck open

+3 also check all small vacuumed lines on inlet manifold,

Also check the bottom of the sas valve hasn't broken off.
N/s of engine around the cam sensor area.

Also just make sure you haven't got a king cobra In your glove box they make a nasty hiss

Problem analised its my dump valve flap wont close?? Shall i take it off the car snd take it apart or can i closr the flsp while its on the car???

Ah phew I was worried for you just in case it came out.

If its wedges open your best pulling it off and apart and find out why, if its cream crackers you can blank off the pipes for now and grab a new one

Tnks lads all done took the dump valve off greased it up and put it together it sounds a treat now
