Possible charity rolling road day

Right just wanted to gauge interest in this...

I lost my dad to cancer 2 years ago now and he owned a couple of mitsubishi's in his time a galant and a galant limited edition sport which ultimately got me into the jap cars...
Before he passed away he was in a hospice who were absolutely amazing and I would love to organise a rolling road day to raise some money for them. The hospice is St Francis Hospice in Havering near Romford.

Iv spoke to Torque Developments International in Thurrock, Essex about hosting this and Shaun has sed that the company would lay on the day free of charge and also there would be no fee for the dyno runs however any cars that want to run will be expected to donate £15-£20 to the charity collection.

I just wanted to see if people were interested before we start talkin dates, etc I'm looking for about 10-15 cars to cover all eventualities but can't guarantee everyone will run depends how the day goes how many cars they can fit in. But people would be more than welcome to come down and watch and just have a chat, etc... Staff would also be available to talk about any tuning issues, etc

If anyone is interested then speak up as if I can't get enough cars it won't go ahead

Sorry to hear about your dad. And that is a fantastic idea and very nice of Torque to open their doors for a good cause..

I hope all goes well and you can get a good few cars and raise a few £££ in the process

Sorry to hear about your dad mate! I lost my mum 4 years ago to MS which she had for about 25 years!

Yes mate of course the more the merrier like I said in the original post tho it won't be going ahead until I get enough cars running as dnt want to waste TDI's time lol

Il try to sort some kind of prize for the fastest car aswell lol

Sorry to hear about your dad mate. i think that it's great that people are willing to help other out, and i would like to come along meet everyone but, i just cant say when i'll not be working and my job pattern is all messed up, but good luck and i hope you all have a good time. :razz:
