porche 911 carrera 4

aright folks a quick question if any one can help would be much apprecited my dad has a 911 carrera 4 and we are trying to change the steering lock but we cant get the barrell out of the old steering lock we have tried using metal wire down the slot in the key face but no joy any pics info would be great guys

um i think on them its fixed in & you have to take out the steering coloumn unit complete.
thats just a guess but maybe someone else can give you better info'

the wire should be inserted into the pinhole on the barrel i believe the key must be inserted to remove the barrel and i think on the carrera it has to be turned 1 click also

without having the key it is near imposible to remove the barrel without drilling it out and that would take days believe me

Aright thanks for the help eventually got it, it was a nightmare but there in the end just had to make a home made tool for unlatching the pin cheers again.
