Hopefully someone can put me straight :)

I have found a highly regarded mapper over jere in ireland not too far from me so I'm gonna get him to map pops and bangs and launch control into my standard evo 5 ecu.

What I want to ask is can I have the anti lag really intense for launching and mild for driving?

Thanks guys

not quite switchable maps ... if there using ecuflash and the ceddy rom then the 2 settings are different anyway. -ve timing on the timing map at low load points set at around -10 -15 will give you the pops bangs while driving with aid of some als settings. Antilag on launch set to -5 builds 0.5 bar for me

-5 is maximum with the standard ecu as well.

Yes, switchable maps is possible with the stock ECU. Would said mapper happen to be todd?

TBH, if it is, I'de regard him as one of the best in Ireland, and trust him with what he says, can guarantee he won't put you wrong mate. :)

Anti-lag and pops & bangs are 2 different things and controlled by seperate parts of the map.

So to answer your question, yes you can have really aggressive anti-lag for launching, then mild pops & bangs while driving, or even no pops & bangs while driving.
