Can you get some pops and bangs without mapping it in? Decats etc? Few mates with focus st's get some great pops and bangs with a decat in. Sounds good.

The Ford engine will naturally run quite rich when decated. They are mapped for emission controll rather than outright power, remove the cat plus the addition of an oversized EGR system pumps quite a bit of air into the exhaust (to help the cat burn off unburned fuel) giving the loud pops and bangs.

Evo's pop a little more with a decat, but for full effect needs a fiddle of the map for a bit of extra fuel, and air through the SAS.
