Poor radio reception

Reception in my 5 is rubbish
Ive checked the wire that runs alongside the aerial and that gets its 12v ign live
Also checked at the booster / amplifier end near the rear screen which is also live when ign on
Any ideas ?

Keith ( another forum ) mentioned to me that there's a wire behind the headunit ( with the wiring ) should be hooked up to ignition live ( think its a black wire )

take a look were your radio harness is just behind your radio

not a clue, i just seen this wire unplugged an had no idea what it was for, asked on a few forums, 1 forum im on is localish to me said its this wire, hooked it up an yes radio lol
