finally finished my rocker cover after many hours of work
but i think its worth it do you ??

first get a jar a patience because you need plenty of that lol, to start you need to paint strip it with paint stripper remover then you need to wet and dry sand it (medium then working down to a fine paper 1200) using a dremil to get into all the hard spots, you need a bench grinder to polish with tight stitched wheel, medium stitched wheel and a loose stitched wheel.use black polishing soap with the tight wheel, green soap for medium and blue soap for loose. then use a pure silk piece of cloth ie piece of blouse ect then carefully rub with liquid diamond with silk. you a probably best of trying to polish your intercool pipes before rocker cover to get the hang of it. anymore help just ask

So is that what you do then? the 45678 cover is different to a 9 cover. I do like the polished thermostat housing though. Oh crap Geof will see that now and he'll get one

looks awsome mate, i know wot you mean about the patience thing, me and my mate polished 3 bits of his Skyline lump, took us 4 days solid, looked good and was worth it tho!!
