Please Help! !

Hi guys, I have just encountered a problem with my evo 7! When starting car, it just cuts out and the engine management light comes on! But when I switch off and restart, it is ok for a while? So confused, I hope someone can help me!!! Many many thanks!!

Possibly your cam sensor mate, does the light stay on? Might allow you to read the codes

Right ok mate, nah the light goes out after a few secs. At 1 point I had the oil, batt and engine management light on at once! Thanks for your reply, any other ideas welcome!!!

What voltage is the battery pushing out?

try to see if any error codes have been stored m8 will norrow the search down

Yeah will do mate, will try to get a diagnostic done this week! Hopefully it will flag something up!

Have you checked the Earth from the battery to the car?

Yeah mate just checked now, it all looks good/secure etc. Any other ideas for a guy inexperienced on the spanners! Haha. Cheers!
