Please help im trying to find this colour

Im desperate to try and find a colour code for this paint?

Can anyone please help?

Welcome to the Forum buddy!

It is a TimeAttack car so I guess that will be the best place to start.

I can tell you that the car in question is James Nichols Evo VI which was an RC Developments car.

Sadly that is all I can tell you on the car but what you can do is give Clive W or Laurence a call at Car Planet and I am sure they will fill you in. A colour scheme like that one is not forgotten in a hurry.

Keep us posted on how you get on.

You will get all you need on the colour from Car Planet, If anyone has more to add then that will be great but hearing it from the horses mouth will mean that you are getting the correct code.

Why the desperation, Evolver???

I assume that you have a project on the go and I must admit that I am slightly intrigued!

Yeah

basically i am getting a full wide arch kit fitted as we speak,and the work has come to a conclusion ALOT quicker than we thought. So now its time to spray!

Will post pix up when i can.

Ok.... i rang CPR and they said that the car is owned by someone called James Nicholls? over on the MLR forum? I am not on forums but does anyone know who this guy is?

I told you originally that the car is James Nichols' Evo VI buddy, there is a blog page on the TimeAttack website if I recall correctly. As quite a few of the teams subscribe to it, I suspect that you may get some luck if you post a message there too in the mean time.

I will have a word with some members that I suspect may be able to contact him, get hold of his contact details or perhaps pass a message onto him for you.

Some one will be over in a while I hope

i am sure that if you showed that pictured or mailed it to some paint specialists then they could come up with something in a minute or less!

You might well be waiting a long time for the owner to give you a heads up, what if he says he dont wonna tell ya?

hi

the paint ur after is glasurit yellow

the upside is it looks good. the down sides are it fades really fast. i paint the car every season its very expnsie 200 a ltr last time i bought some and glasurit uk have gone bust so u can only get it from germany and u have to have 10ltrs a time if u do have any spare i will buy it.

u need some one who really knows wat there donig as if u put too much or too little on the coulor is totaly diffrent u also need to base the car up white first

maybe try house of coulor they have some cool colours

There are some automotive paint manufacturers in the UK that are very good at mixing colours. If you have some lying around, no matter how small an amount it may be, I am sure that you will be able to get it mixed up right here.

I can forward you some details if you think it might be of help.

not a prob

i have plenty i bought a pallet from the recivers of gluasrit very cheap if evolover wants some to match thats no pobs we did try to get a match the could get close about 95% match the prob i had was the car was alredy this coulor so had to be 100%
