Panel filter or cone?

I just bought a Du luck panel filter and think it has made a differance, but was wondering what your opinions were??

I was told that the induction kits take in hot air from the engine bay?

If you update the standard filter it will def make a diff whether it's just noise or actually enhancing performance. A cone filter will allow more air in at once as the air flows round it, you must have some cold air to feed it though or sometimes you will be better off with the standard box and cold feed. The car will only take the air it wants the idea is you just remove the restrictions ie better foam or bigger filter. So imo cone or mushroom is better with a cold feed

fit some fort of cold feed and it will help a lot

but an induction kit will help take in more air and increase performance and the noise/grunt from the engine bay is better :twisted:

If you have the standard one, modify it and make your own from some ducting or hardpipe if it's the right shape
