Just wondering whose done it, what colour and what paint?

Cars going into body shop to get a few bits done, was chatting to guy doing it and he said to see what others have used, can get it powder coated or normal paint, just wondering if they paint has reacted to the heat when using normal paint?

any help or pictures be spot on

Be very very careful when getting it stripped.. if your going to strip it for powder coating etc it would be best getting it chemicaly dipped..

You dont want to have it lets say blasted and then not cleaned out properly then to find there may be bits of debris finding its way into the head/engine etc and doing damage.

if you get what i mean.. and i take it you mean the rocker cover ??

Make sure they don't paint the underside like some muppets have. Seems the oil pump doesn't like it when it has to try pump the paint around that's fallen off the underside the cover :)

Like the looks of that.. very stealthy...ttinking of painting the rocker cover black.. wouldn't want to powdercoat as its just so thick and will hold the heat in. Or so I was told many years ago.

hmmm the mat black is the best color ever and its looks good then all other colors. There is another good thing with black color is that is get less dirty then other colors. If not like black then you can try to make it chormic... Yes its good.
