Hello all,

I'd like to paint the housing black on the stock headlights so they match my black car better.

What's the best way to take them apart and seal them together properly?

Was thinking Matt Black from Halfords and to paint the faded/rusted wiper arms

You need to heat up the seal and gently prise apart, re use the original sealant to seal back up, or windscreen sealer if you don't think it will reseal.
Painting the inside I would paint satin black rather than matt black to give a more oem look

As nicky says. You could always try summat I know has been done, if your oven is big enough pop a headlight in there on low with door adjar and they come apart a dream, DON'T! Do what I did and use a hair dryer as it takes 4EVER Israel a heat gun or oven

Hair drier and a cardboard box is another way to do it :)
