Other mods for evo x

Hi everyone , I have had the e x for 4months, already sorted a blitz filter,
awiting a scorpion exhaust, friday i think,also ordered an avcr boost controller
should be next week. My problem is what to do next, after a remap. Any suggestions.Looking more at engine not wheels or coil overs , I cant decide on wheels yet. Cheers everyone.
Also I was thinking wider wheels at the back so any advice on wheel sizes
I can use,stick with 18s i think but not sure what widths i can fit.
1st evo so all new to me. a dumb evo x owner lol.

just a little update, I should be getting my exhaust tomorrow, think its coming from
invo auto,should be fitted by weekend,then i will just be waiting on the avcr boost
controller. It comes from japan so 2wks away yet. Hoping to post some pics at the weekend.cheers.dave

If the exhaust you ordered does not have a de-cat section then you really ought to get that done right away buddy.

As far as engine mods are concerned, I advise you to get uprated 272 cams and a bigger turbo.

265 is a good size tyre. I am sure Stu can give you the best size that will suit your rims. Check my friends list for StuartTyres and give him a shout.

He will help you out on that one buddy.

hey there, still not got the exhaust, a little pissed that its not done,
its booked for tues, if not a refund will be had. as for a decat, too many points to be cat free, going to get a sports cat. just been out fitting mudflaps
just after market ones but they look good,and protect the back arch abit lol.
They wont be to everyones taste but,they are required and they look better
than wrecked paint. i will get pics done on sunday,and get them posted.

wheels and sizes

want some new wheels can any one help ? i see a lot of you guys use 18" 9 i have a set of these on my evo 8 at the moment but the turning circle is rubbish and on full lock they rub can any one help! iv been looking at 17" but they dont look no where nears as good so at the mo i hav't got a clue what size or make i want so any pics and information would be great

very old post you're found lol. For the size i don't no but but for the turning circle all evo's have a crap turning circle!
