Operation: Get car back on road

so things have progressed........

brakes are back from being refurbed, discs and pads changed, o2 sensor changed, fog light fitted.

Now when i was fitting fog lamp i traced some wiring back under the dash and have found a right load of cowboy jobs.....the car must have had 3-4 different alarm systems through its life as there is wiring with just plugs cut off leaving bare wires. Got most of it out (just hope car starts now!) however, i did come across this under drivers side.........


anyone know what the plug above my finger is for??

and also the one top left of the panel with the black/white and black cable going into it as this was unplugged.............???

Just found the KMH to MPH converter, seems one of the wires is off. It is a KM1 Convertek and the yellow wire has a black wire attached but looks like it has been cut from the back of speedo which wire should it be conntected to???
