I think from what I have read from people that have been before that yes we need to sort a meeting point.
I'm not familiar with the area but I know the meganesport lot are meeting at services near by so maybe we could tag along behind them

edit to say I know where the Hotel is and Bruntingthorpe and there is a layby right outside the Hotel for people to meet to run to Bruntingthorpe in the morning

Be really good to go out at brunters, holds quite a bit of history. An the runway is 2 miles long. I see me maxing my car out down there lol

Info about the track for those of you that want to stretch your legs.
The more we get signed up for this part the less time you have to commit to track




There is a gate(pitt) of six cars that will be able to go out on the track, and you are going to share the gate with Maserati so you have three cars in the gate ,you do one lap and come back in , and change your passenger. The gate is open at 09.00 and closes at 12.45 for lunch , and reopens at 14,00 till 17,00 , so you can be out on the track for 6hr 45min , so that is why the car clubs bring about twenty cars , and they just keep changing them when a driver gets fed up or needs a break , so everyone gets a bit of track time, and the track is 2.88 miles long, and you can reach speeds of up to 200mph on the long straight. You will have about 20,000 petrol heads drooling all over your cars.

we have 303 car booked in ,so the Pitts are full, I have attached the car list.

Just to give you an idea of the cars for this years show , see below (303 CARS BOOKED IN)

1 G.T.R.O.C,(20 new shape Nissan skylines) extremely fast and the most the popular on the day and cost about £80,000 each, some of them have been chipped and are capable of 200 mph +.

2 FORD GT 40 car club and sixth gear in the same gate, 30 mixed cars including 3 Porsche GT3 ,2 Brabus Mercedes, and a £300,000 Maybec Mercedes limo, and about 10 old Ford GT40 's

3 VX 220 car club ( very fast little Vauxhall sports car ) 30 cars

4 Lotus car club 20 mixed cars

5 Subaru WR1 car club 20 cars

5 1/2 (special small gate) Roger Clark Racing ,3 very special racing Subaru's (one is called the GOBSTOPPER,and has 960 bhp) these cars are mental. put Gobstopper and bruntingthorpe into Google and the watch the video ,

6 Auto Adrenalin Car Club , 30 mixed cars , including Ferrari, Lamborghini, bmw, Porsche,

7 T.V.R. car club 30 mixed TVR,cars

8 G.T.M./ car club 20 mixed hand built cars

9 Midshires car club 30 mixed cars

11 Maserati car club , 30 mixed car's ( one of these cars may be driven by Louis Walsh of x factor, he is a Maserati nut and is reported to be interested in coming in his own car , )

12/13 The London Tunnelers, 50 mixed cars , including a old maclaran F1 at £1,400.000 and a new maclaren at £286,000, 15 new Shelby ford mustangs, 5 Arial atoms( THESE CARS WILL DO 0/60 IN 2.8 SECS ),Porsche, Mercedes, bmw, and lots of others i cant remember.

REWACO TRIKES motorbike trikes , 6 trikes taking passengers around the long track ,

THE AIR DISPLY

At 13:00 hours we shut the track down for an air display that includes: -
Team Swift (a glider & tug display team that is the most extreme we have ever seen),i.e., they do the display tied together.

Tom Cassel's (U.K. aerobatic champion).

The duxford duo will be arriving at 10,30 ,mh434 a mk9 spitfire and a p51-d mustang called ferocious Freddie will then do a display at 1345 which they won the gold cup at biggan hill in June 2008 for the best display

In the main arena we have the fantastic Russ swift "the chap who speed parks mini's at 70 mph", Chris Walton "motorbike stunt display team",

We are about to book Steve culley " four times world trials champion" who will have cart blanch permission to display all around the site, and will do a display in the main arena, steam traction engine's from the market Harborough area will be in steam and you will get to drive them during the day ,when the main arena is not being used,

There will be a laser clay pigeon shoot at the show and the best shot on the day will win £150

FOR THE LADIES

Asda George is going to have a large fashion sale, last year this was massive and was such a hit with the ladies, that we are making it even bigger, and have asked Clarinsthe French make up company to come along and give make over's to all the ladies on the day

FOR THE KIDS

For the kiddies we have a 75 foot galleon bouncy castle which will be free to all the kids, mini motto’s, mini quads, will be there on the day also.

200yds of miniature steam railway and a miniature steam traction engine that is giving kiddies rides.

Scania and Volvo will be there showing off their latest trucks, which the kids can climb all over.

Plus lots lots more !!!
