When the emissions system prompts a running at fast idle, i.e 3000RPM, some not so diligent testers just let it run at idle, i.e 900/1100RPM for the duration.

Assuming that the emissions are already in the green zone.

I must stress that I have not witnessed any tester performing this tactic! :whistling: :whistling: :whistling:
