I would use a 5w-40 synthetic in the engine.
5w-40 engine oil | 5w40 oil
Out of those, the best ones are the Fuchs/Silkolene Pro S, Millers CFS/CFS NT, Motul 300V, Red Line and Gulf Competition. The Motul 8100 X-Cess, Millers XF Longlife, Fuchs GT1 XTL/Supersyn, Gulf Formula G, Shell Helix and Mobil Super 3000 are good, cheaper alternatives.
You need a 75w-90 for the gearbox, transfer box and diff.
75w-90 Gear Oils for your Car from Opie Oils
If you want to go for the best, the Millers CRX 75w-90 NT, Gulf Competition, Motul Gear 300, Red Line MT90 and Millers TRX are ideal for the gearbox. The Castrol Universal, Motul Motylgear and Fuchs Gear Syn are all decent alternatives. The Fuchs Syn 5, Millers CRX, Redline 75w-90 GL5, Motul Gear 300 and Gulf Competition are ideal for the diff and transfer box. The Fuchs Sintopoid, Castrol Syntrax Longlife, Millers TRX, Motul Motylgear, Mobil SHC and Amsoil FGR are also good choices.
You need an an ATF for the AYC and power steering and I would go for either the Amsoil ATF, Motul Multi ATF, Fuchs ATF4400, Gulf Multi Vehicle ATF, Castrol ATF Multi Vehicle or Millers Millermatic ATF SPIII.
Automatic Transmission Fluid and ATFs from Opie Oils
The best fluids for the brakes and clutch are the Castrol SRF, Motul RBF660 and Gulf RF1000. The Motul RBF600, Gulf RF800, Millers 300 Plus and Fuchs Pro Race are close to those, but don't have quite as high boiling points. The next step down (in performance terms),but still an upgrade over standard are the Gulf Racing 5.1, Motul DOT 5.1 and Castrol React Performance. Any of the other DOT4 fluids we have are fine to use as a standard choice.

Best oil for evo8. 260gsr with hks filter 3" full milltek exhaust evo9 turbo running 350/360 bhp normal ahort town driving with the odd back road sprint , old owner used 10w50 titan but i think he did track days and things ?

Hey oil man i'm moving back to my home home country of Trinidad and Tobago in the Caribbean (shipping my evo out in a couple weeks or so) where we only have a dry/rainy season and temperatures average about 34 degrees Celsius during the day to an average minimum of 25 degrees at night. Been doing regular service at Mitsubishi but i'm way overdue for one due to time constraints...want to change all fluids myself when the car reaches which would take about a month or so after shipping.
So my question is what fluids and quantities would you recommend i purchase? (they will ship inside the car)
Model: Evo X fq 300 gsr sst
Year: 2011
Engine type: 4B11
Performance modifications: nil (will be upgrading intake, exhaust and a bigger radiator...which should give an estimated +30-40 bhp after an ecu tuning)
Driving style: (road / off-road / track etc): daily driver(mostly stop and go not like the roads here),occasional track(mostly quarter mile and short course track style type "drag and wind")
Mileage: 20k miles
Also read thru the thread and saw u mention to some users they do a "cleaning"...would also like to do this...but with cheaper oils ofcourse lol which i'll purchase in my home country...what types would you recommend for this? would all need to be done or just engine oil and transmission?and should i do an engine oil flush also?
