Oil question.

Hi guys probably been asked a million times but not 100% sure how to use the search yet

I just bought my evo 6 and as always going straight in for service. I normally use opie oils for my oil and their recommendation is 5w 40. Is this the correct oil as i have been told to use 10w 60?

10 60 would be too thick unless its highly tuned and track abused? I would say 5 40 would be fine in the winter, maybe go for something slightly thicker when it warms up.

I use Fuchs Titan race 10/50 all year round as do most. 10/60 is mainly for the high powered track cars.

Ok guys, thanks for the info. since my car is pretty standard (at the moment) and not for the track ill go with the 10w50.
