Oil Pressure Wire Colour

Does anyone know the colour of the wire for the oil pressure light on the rear of E5 clocks? My SRS light stays on as i have changed the steering wheel and air bag wire remains disconnected now. I want to bridge the SRS light with the oil pressure on the rear on my E5 clocks so it will go off. Need it sorted before car needs MOT and i sold my original E5 steering wheel c/w air bag so cant swap steering wheels for the day when due MOT.

Pass have you got access to the workshop manual, or lee might know

Ye ai have E6 PDF workshop manual but its different for E5 slightly and the diagram of the circuit shown does not show much. I was going to tap into the circuit board and connect that way but would rather do it with splice the wires.

I jus found the complete Evo 5 wiring PDF if it's any help only thing is I can't download on iPhone for some reason. It's on the Evo scan website mate

All you need to do is plug in a 3oms resister into the plug that you unplugged the airbag from

yeah..use a airbag dummy resistor..3 ohms.


ehm.. the MOT tester will see the steering wheel..and will question the function of the SRS system anyway.

Thanks and as long as the srs light lights up on ignition and goes off thats ok.... ah but it depends who you know that is doing the mot test and some say nothing about it, some give you an advisory note or some would fail you.
