oil choice

hi recently got a new evo which im going to do a service running aprox 400 i bought castrol edge 10w60 fully sythn is this the right oil cheers for any help

Don't think so. What model do you have?

I use Motul 5w40 in my 8 MR,

5w40 is fine for road going car

I use 10w 60 castrol fully synth in my 8 MR as thats what its always been run on in previous service receipts? It seems fine to me

There are only a few true triple ester based oils ( true synthetic )
Millers being one of them and that's why it's in my evo 5/40

I used 10w30, Brad Penn. Evo 7. Depends on outside temperature for the weight.

Any more info on this as im going to be doing an oil and filter change soon.. Everyone recommends using 5w40 in the evo but on my service history its always been run on 10w60. Should i just stick with. 10w60 or change to 5w40?
