oil change cheap as chips :-o

usually do oil changes myself but i want to get the car on a ramp to find this annoying rattle noise so thought id ring tyres sales round the corner from me, they said for an oil change using mobil 1 5w/40 oil and to check all exhaust mounts and look for this rattle noise it would be £45!!!
theres no point in getting the drive covered in oil(and getting a bollocking of my dad) if you can get these things done at that price i cant buy the oil for that, how is it so cheap!!!!?

I don't know anyone that uses mobile 1 oil. Stick to Fuchs or millers

+ 1 .. you get what u pay for, wouldnt find no tyre place or a quick fitters doing my car,, or even near it for that matter,,

Oil changes take about 15 minutes, most of that is letting the oil drain. Its why i do them myself and i know they've been done properly

yeah, i always do them myself to but i need to get the car on a ramp to look for this rattling noise, so if i can do that while they are changing the oil then its all good! im sure they can be trusted lol its a simple job and ill be watching the whole time! like a hawk
