Be careful folks at road works...

Last night hit several 'raised iron works' at once..then managed to bounce off the curb to for good measure..

Speed not an issue..driving in a 30 zone but made a nice mess of the N/S/F and N/S/R alloys...F.U.B.A.R...along with 2 tyres...now the ABS light is on and the caliper seems to have seized???

This has happened 2 weeks after spending 2500.00 at Indigo getting her nice..

Put a claim in, the council had no warning signs, no cones, no lighting etc etc..and I counted 37 raised iron works (10cm above the surface of the road) in the space of a couple of hundred of feet!

Bad times mate hope all goes well, my local council were a nightmare when I hit a crater in the road dented my rim buckled it burst NEW tyre, I was in the way home from havin them fitted.

Loads of pics and some legal advice and you should be fine mate

Took a load of piccys this evening...including the 'missing' warning signs..got Pace ward involved now, so fingers crossed :shock:

Bad luck mate.

It's pretty bad round where I live. It's pretty much still a building site so there's all sorts poking up out of the road.

LOL!! Like it mate.. the kind council just had 'Ramp' signs out, no amber flashing lights, cones any other warning signs etc..so just photographed the 'Ramp' signs...they are pretty laid back round here.....but I guess it will cost them now..:awesome:

yh no signs isnt good. thy have done the same down the road from mine along a main road, with raised iron works but luckily i was in the work van the other day when i drove over it, all i broke was the tv in the back so no biggie but no warning signs, think we supposed to assume as motorists

Thats bad m8 .My m8 just done the same to his Caymen front and back .
Just think if your were on a motorbike phew

looks like youve lost a hub/wheel bearing in the process too mate.. wheel bearing has play,causing the brake to sieze , wobble causing abs sensor to misread the tooths n the cv shaft end.

get it assessed now!
