Get on, my full forge build engine was mapped with at 1.8bar boost after 350 miles that was 3 years ago and she still not burning any oil even now

Mine cost me 4k but that's me supplying parts to local race engine builder. Engine removal and re fit myself.

Done loads of reading up on Mlr etc and 300 miles seemed to be about right. Some people doing a lot less !

Not the first time I have heard that you should get on the boost early and get the engine all the way up and down the revs from around 500miles onwards

Yeah think I'm going to running it in for about 500 miles then work on the fuelling, water/meth injection and turbo. . Hopefully I should have it back end of next week and be at the ace cafe on the Sunday.

Mark shead built and run in my old e7 2.3 stroker engine, he did a tank of fuel (250miles) then mapped it, was running 560bhp and that had no issues or excessive oil burning in the 2 years i had it.

I took the long road and done 1000 miles just to be safe as my build has cost me a lot of money and I don't want that going on me,my diff shat its self on me yesterday morning so that's another big arse bill I did not need but the only things that's not updated on my car is my gearbox

Just an update, cars finished ended up having a Bosch 044 fuel pump, HKS fuel rail, 1000cc injectors, FPR and 3 port solenoid too. Being run in on a hub dyno for 3 hours, oil change and then let the mapping begin!! Will post a dyno print out when done. Roll on the 11th!!
