What he probably means is that he comes across many performance cars all the time and in various cases, the output of power or general running, performance differs between the two fuels depending on what car it is in.

Maybe he sees better results with Momentum then VPower.

I would not be surprised to hear that as Momentum is engineered to outperform standard fuels in the same way that Synthetic oils are engineered to outperform Mineral oils.

What do you mean when you say in some cases batter than vpower?

Cheers,

generally when I tune a car (same as most tuners) the map will be relatively safe, which means the car should be fine for slight alterations of boost/weather/fuel etc.

but a friend of mine who I do the tuning for always wants me to 'ring its neck', he knows the dangers etc and I'm only just down the road from him for map tweaks when necessary.

He usually fills up with tesco99 and twice now when i've remapped him on tesco and then a few days later hes filled up with vpower I usually have to go back to him for a little detune as the car is detonating (his check engine light flashes to let him know)

so this tells me that on these instances that tesco99 is better than vpower :D (not saying its the rule though)
