Non Evo-Owner

Hi guys...
I'm not an Evo owner. I'm a 20 year-old Japanese car enthusiast and love Honda's. Although I do love Evo's so I thought I'd sign up to see what the Evo scene is like and what sort of parts are available to buy on here

The Evo Recaro's have been sold and I am currently looking for another set of Recaro's on here, which was the actual reason I signed up for. But I realised that there are some decent things on here to look at!

And it's not a B16 mate, I'm repping the cheap and cheerful D16Z6 SOHC VTEC Turbo haha.
Should be good for around 250bhp when it has been remapped

i have a couple of lads i know running b16 and tbh im not a fan of hondas but im impressed with the B/D 16s, hes running over 500bhp! i cant remember what he said was stock piston or rods, but very impresssive, to throw this into a bit of a debate! The only thing that lets the honda down is FWD! imagine if they did or someone did a 4WD conversion?!

Turbo'd Honda's are capable of some pretty big figures.
A friend of mine as a stock B18C4 with a TD05 on it producing a lovely 391bhp. It surprises a lot of people!

They do put the power down well for FWD cars if I'm honest!

im not knocking hondas i think they are awsome has a crack with a civic with a b16 turbo, he was spouting how he could destroy anything because of power to weight etc, i offered at the time a 390bhp evo 8 and i pulled from him with ease, i had more of a challenge from a 1985 cavalier with a red top in!!!, but im not saying that to knock honda s mate as i believe £ per horse they are outstanding!!

Well, it seems that the B16 Turbo owner wasn't up to scratch with his driving skills then! Haha!

Believe me... a B16 Turbo is capable of doing some crazy things. There is, in fact, a guy in Bradford that has a B16 Turbo on stock sleeves producing 450bhp. That upsets Lamborghini drivers etc.
Also, I'm guessing you may have heard of Will@RDT? He has a built B18C EK9 with a lovely GT35R doing 408whp. His car will easily outrun an Evo, due to it's power/weight ratio.

But I do love Evo's and given then choice, I would pick an Evo over an Impreza, any day of the week!
