Noise when braking!!

Yesterday was the first time I drove the car on a long journey, and for what ever reason every time I stop they make a horrible screeching noise

Is this a common thing when there are drilled / groves disks used? I had a small problem very similar on my last car, but kind of managed to get rid of it by bedding the brakes in good and proper.

Does anyone know how to stop this noise?

You can try pulling the pads out and copper grease the backs of the pads of that don't work you will have to live with it I'm afraid, mine squeal too

if your running brembos you will get a high pitch squeel they are prone for it you can get some stuff to cure it from mintex cant remember the name of the top of my head
