which i'm sure you's have guessed :)

right a few questions i wanna ask,

i'm lookin to buy an evo (obviously) :) well it wuz either a scoobie or evo but i've now decided on an evo :D

1.do they give much bother?
2.are they easy to work at??
3.pricey foo fix
4.and how often do they need serviced,i heard they need serviced pretty often like twice or three times a year,not sure if its true tho...

but i def want one and not sure if i should go for the evo 4 or 5

any answers to any of the above much appreciated

Good choice with the evo ;)

1. If they are well maintained not really no. They are good strong machines. Obviously the more you modify them the more extra strength is needed but you can safely bring them up quite a bit from standard with not much bother.
2. If your intending to do your own work on them you need to have some mechanical skill. They arent the easiest but most simple jobs are easy enough. Clutch is a right pain and thats something which is classed as a consumable though (40k out of one mind so its not a yearly thing ;) )
3. Its all relitive. Not pricey for the level they are in but if you compair them to a mondeo they are expensive.
4. Yes they do need more service then most cars. 4500 miles is the given figure, so yes a few times a year but you need to service any high performance car regularly...
