Hi Dave,

I love cars (especially Japanese performance cars).
I've owned an evo 8 mr300 (import),an evo 7 (Ralliart/Extreme may have owned it, also been on front cover of magazine). I used the username on the mlr and was the reg of the car. I've just sold an evo 7 showcar running 385 bhp without the NOS :)

I've had a lot of evo 4's and have 5 at the moment along with a Subaru P1

Hi El,

I didn't realise it was in a magazine till a mate mentioned it to me saying "I'm sure this is my mates old car, was in a magazine".

Then I started searching and searching till I found this magazine for sale on ebay. I ordered the magazine but the picture was very small and I couldn't make out if the reg was w7 or m7. My mate who had a look reckoned it was w. I had already ordered by this stage.

The next day it arrived. I opened it to find it was actually m7gsr. I was buzzing at this point :D

The other thing was, it was brand new when I was expecting it to be used and fairly tatty! My kids got hold of it and I thought s%&*, it's getting ripped up. But luckily they didn't. They were admiring the pics. :)

The magazine is stored away safely, for now anyway. Hope to try and keep it for years

Keep it in a wrapper in a dry dark place or it will deteriorate.

Hi Matt.

Yep, they're a good bunch and they know what they're going on about.

I've been a member of a few different clubs and still am, but don't manage to log on too often I've had more response on here than the others put together and I've only been here for a few days.

I'm a member on the mlr but don't seem to get much response on there!!

Yeah I'm a member on there also.....

Seems to be hit and miss sometimes as to whether you get a reply or not. Some helpful guys on there, some, I guess just aren't........

Thanks for the comment about the car. :D

Thanks. The supra's are a brilliant car but can be very scary in the wet (and fun of course). A few mods and they can touch 400hp :)

More fun driving it true, but gotta stay on top of the cleaning it. Especially with you being up in sScotland where cars tend to rust more!

Get a few coats of Autoglym on it and see the difference. Your car will stay cleaner by not letting the dirt stick to it
