Hi everyone,
I'm an expat living in France; looking to buy an Evo 4/5 in June/July this year and import to France.
Unfortunately the French have big restrictions on imports (esp JDM) so I'll be looking for a UK built car...you can't register a car here unless it has a 17 digit vin- I understand most, if not all, JDM cars have a 9 digit vin...unless anyone knows differently of course?!
Been trying to work out the best car for me here, thought about an AMG E55, M3, TVR etc but have always fancied an Evo, so here I am!
Currently running a modded Volvo V70T5 which I brought with me and had no probs getting the French registration sorted despite it being RHD- just swapped the lights for LHD version, filled in a few forms and bobs yer aunty- done!!!
Will the standard Lancer lights will be ok for an Evo?
