I am interested to know what key things/common faults I should look out for when viewing some cars, if you would like to share these with me that would be appreciated.

Have a search around buddy loads of info out there.

Just look for good service history and take a test drive listen for Knocks, crunches and whines.

Look up AYC faults but don't be put off half the time it's an easy fix, and watch out for the "old" threads with "old" prices for fixes as stuff is much more available now.

Try and buy the best you can afford, don't scrape the barrell with the scabby ones unless you want a project lol.

Woooooooo, bought one! Collect it wed night!

More photos when I collect it. A little bit about the car. 63k, fsh, cambelt done, 260bhp model, completely standard and now one very happy owner. I can't wait to drive it home!
