Newbie from the Midlands

Hi Folks,

Just joined the forum, haven't currently got an Evo but am considering getting another one as a weekend toy!

Did briefly own an Evo 4 forest rally car, unfortunately never used it, bought a house and ended up selling it!

Wasn't going to post in here just yet, was using the forum to look for motors for sale / advice and to post an ad for a wheel I have for sale - ended up getting a B*llocking for posting a for sale ad but not posting in here! So here's a brief hello!

Hi Chris, welcome mate. You can post in the for sale section but please include where you live and a telephone number and if members are buying from you and pay you for an item will you provide them with your full name and address as we have had a few issues previously with members getting scammed.
Any avice you want just post a thread and we will help mate.

Welcome along mate. As said above we have had to come up with a couple of simple rules to help re assure some members that they arnt being scammed, not fool proof but anywho welcome to the family, hope you find a Evo soon

Welcome Chris hope you get what your looking for from our club and little community. Who gave you a boll@cking for posting a for sale add that didnt include all the criteria that we ask for in a for sale add?? Let me know and I'll deal with them accordingly :awesome:
As a few members had pointed out to you we don't actually know you As yet and were only protecting out members with a few simple rules of selling. We have had a few members scammed in the past and to be fair not that many so we would like to keep it that way.
Anyway enjoy the site and join in on the banter :razz:

Thanks guys! Wont mention names about about the b*llocking - dont want to cause any trouble. Will try and upload some pics of the E4 over the weekend. Gutted I had to sell it, just at the time it wasn't financially viable to keep. I recently bought a BMW 330ci Msport as a daily motor, really fancy a weekend / project toy now though! Oh and I live in Sutton Coldfield by the way.
