Hey, I'm Robynne (female),I'm 22 and from a tiny little village in Hampshire.

I'm about to purchase my first evo, which will be a IV and I can hardly contain my excitement.

I've had japanese cars since the age of 17 and wanted to move away from RWD and look for a change.

So hello and nice to meet you.

Hi and welcome.

Hope you've researched the IV's. Was going to be my starting point but ended up with a V.

I have researched and looked into them, I'm going to use it as a stepping stone to either a 5 or 6 later on in the year, I currently don't have a car after selling my last one and cant afford a 5, and this one has come up at a good price with low miles so I'm using it as a learning curve to see if I get along with it.

Good, they have a couple obvious weaknesses but apart from that they are every bit as good as a 5 so you wont go far wrong with one.

That's always good to hear, I was panicking that I had missed something substantial and was about to make a really shocking purchase! It's good to know that there is a wealth of knowledge on this forum having been reading posts and looking around :)

Hi Chris and Madmanc, thank you, I'm just outside Stockbridge having recently moved here.

Very close to Martin and I. You'll know the nice little roads around there then (with one of the best being the back road from King Somborne through to the Winchester - Stockbridge road).

Get some pics up when you get the car :)

I've found that one! I was rather impressed when I was driving it, but sadly I was in my sisters na 1.6nb Mx5 so it was rather slow. Once I get her there will be pictures!

You'll have to let your sister know about Skuzzle on Stockbridge road - tunes up/services MX5s etc. and has a rolling road.

I want her to turbo it, and she's coming round to the idea. I know of the garage, I very nearly bought an mx5 that he had helped with, I've only ever heard positives about him. Seems like I've moved to a good location when it comes to cars! :)

I had a supercharged one, was epic fun and just on 200bhp, easy conversion to do as well :)

If she needs any convincing send her here!!

Ahhh that is lovely, I have a real soft spot for mk1's, she's got a mk2 California, which she loves bu I've offered her my little mk1 that I have stood that needs to be sold. But there comes a time when 2 seats just isn't enough and I can't get my surfboards on top ha.
