New wheels?!!

Evening everyone and happy xmas eve eve! just need some info/advice on some new wheels thinking of getting, ive got the 17" speedline corse turini (the standard ones on the evo 9fqmr's) in black but was looking at getting the kei racing evo ones (hyperblack and red) still keeping them at 17" hoping should'nt affect any performance (apart from an extra 1kg per wheel) and just putting existing tyres on as brand new? Wondering what size i would need aswell? Width 7.5 pcd 5x100 or 5x114.3? Are any of those correct?:hm: think one of guys on here has or had them on a evo 9 in blue (GE05EVO) i saw a while back at trax or japfest i think and they looked amazing so thought now ive got one now might treat myself!! Any info/advice would be greatly appreciated and anyone know a good place to buy them from would help aswell many thanks!!

Hey there, you'd be looking at 5x114.3. if they are the same width i don't see why you can't change the tires over. you should be able to go 17x9 ET30 without having to modify the arches maybe wider but i'm not sure, best to double check with someone who knows for certain that will be along soon hopefully

Thanks for reply, ive found out the width is 8in on car at mo so dunno if 7.5 will work or not with existing tyres, defo 114.3 aswell, might have to wait untill tyres are all worn out before getting new wheels with all new tyres aswell!! Oh what do i do:thinking:

How much are they and where did you see them if you don't mind me asking.

7.5 will look skinny on any evo, 8j is what Mitsubishi set from new.

I wouldn't put 7.5 on a evo, looks shite 8j at a least and 9j max
