New wheels for me!

OK, so having had my MOs custom made to my offset and size requirements after much discussion with Compmotive they take 4 weeks to make, then one turns up at the resellers damaged and they have to go back to Compmotive to be re-done. Today after 5.5 weeks they finally arrive - alas some of the wheel weights for 2 of them ended up stuck to the packaging not the wheels :shock:

So, I've put a couple of coats of Poorboys wheel seal on 2 of them and fitted those. I'll get the other 2 balanced again tomorrow and fit them on Saturday.

Car is a bit grubby at the moment. A damn good polish and it should be whiter :lol:

So, I gave it a wash earlier

And tackled the off colour bits with some AG paint renovator. I have clayed and paint cleanered the car within the last month but there were some panels which just wouldn't come clean so the AG was a last resort before a professional machine polish - here's a 50/50 shot of the bonnet.

And after a quick coat of wax.

So, my rear diff died on the way home from Exmoor on Sunday

I've sourced and picked up a bargain working diff - just needs a bit of a clean

And while I was there i got given this!

And these arrived today too

So, I thought I should fit the new bits having got the new diff fitted :angel:

First job - front bumper off

New grill all prepped and ready to replace the holey one at the top :ninja:

Hard pipes all cleaned and ends degrease ready for refitting

New Samco intercooler hoses fitted

Old number plate stripped off and bumper prepped

And refitted

Beer break

Exhaust Polished

Japanese Tax and Parking disks removed as they were tatty as was the SVA Imports sticker

A quick polish with some AutoGlym SRP and then a couple of coats of Megs #22 Synthetic Sealant

Finished - ignore the Celica Club banner - I was trying to convince them they wanted it back :lol:
