Hello Lads/Girls,

I currently own a BMW E36 328i se Saloon...:whistling:

Looking to get an Evo...:awesome: As the power from the 2.8 Straight 6 isn't doing it for me any more...

I am wanting a Evo VII or above... Just saving the cash up and doing some research into common faults... How much running costs will be... etc...

Is there a part on the Forum where I can have a look at some of you Projects or Rebuild Threads or Work in progress...

Cheers

Heres a few pictures of the BMW if your interested...

M power lol vroom

There is a useful thread on 'model differences' which may help you narrow down the marque and trim of the evo you want

Welcome mate I don't think there are any common faults with the 7s just give the car a proper inspection before buying

Make sure the acd is working properly

+1

Check the lash adjusters aren't noisy and the usual checks you'd do (oil leaks, diff. noises, rust underneath the back of the car, no crunches in gears etc.). If you've not had an evo before, you'll notice the gears are a little notchy on them, this is normal :)

Try and take somebody along with you who knows evos. Post a link up of any potential cars. We'll try and guide you as much as possible :)

Cheers guys!

Nahh - All I have had is two cars BMW 318iS Coupe & this one 328i se Saloon...

Is there much engine wise you can do the Evo 7 - by swapping parts from other Evos to produce that little more power?

But to start with 276bhp would be more than enough for me start with for a while... say 3months

Been looking on Pistonheads - Where else would you guys look to buy one? I have never liked Autotrader...
