Hi Guys,
I have just put my name down on purchasing an Evo V FQ-360 at my local mitsubishi garage. Unfortunately i won't be picking anything up until i turn 25 in February next year anyway because of insurance purposes but nonetheless i took one out for a test drive at the weekend and fell in love!!
My friend & I, who test drove the 300 & 360 have both been talking about getting an Evo ever since the Evo 6. Finally we have both become of age and insurance is on our side!
I am currently driving a Fiesta ST so it's a major step up for me but l have always been a sensible driver with no accidents/or points to date!! So as you can imagine, although it's a long wait i am really excited about it!
With that said, my name is Brad, from Essex and if anyone has any questions then feel free!!
I do have a few questions of my own though:
1) I am under the impression the oil needs changing once every 3,000 miles in the Evo X. What do most local Mitsubishi Garages charge to do this themselves?
2) Because of the sensors on the windscreen, it would make sense to get them to replace the windscreen themselves. Has anyone had this done, or have any idea of costing (just curious on price).
3) Services, how much is a service roughly as i didnt ask and need to budget for it!!
4) Is there any common faults with Evo X i need to be made aware of? I will be buying second hand.
5) What are some of the best websites available for Evo owners for upgrades/repairs/information? I have a full list for a Fiesta ST, but none YET for the Evo
Cheers for any help,
