Good luck with the savings babes - you just gotta buy a yellow one - I almost cried when I got rid of my eight then found out that I couldn't get a 9 in yellow at the time!!!!

Lol, i brought the first evo that i went to see without doing any research into MR or FQ. 377 bhp said it all for me.

I'm rather sure that el can tell ya all you need to know, we're all dumb compared to him:D

I have had evos for over 15 years and the things he tells me leave me feeling like a 15 year old:confused:

Still, it might help if it weren't in one ear n out the other:D:D:D

Basicly all the better stuff that's on the fq 9 is on the mrfq 8,it also has the half leather interior,if u take both out u will see the diference, the first thing ull notice is th mr handles better.

Here are some of the improvements on the MR

Lightweight aluminum roof
BILSTEIN shock absorbers
BBS lightweight forged alloy wheels (optional)
The turbo waste gate uses two solenoids. This optimizes boost pressure control to give more stable torque in the low to mid range, and the engine achieved torque of 4.08kg-m at 3500rpm.
The ACD + super AYC + ABS electronic 4x4 control system has been improved to realize a more natural and better driving feel.
The weight of the Super AYC unit has been reduced by 800 grams by switching from steel to aluminum for the clutch case and by reviewing the metal clutch disc gauge.

The above i've lifted off a site!!

The MR has
-6 speed tranny
-Billstein shocks
-stock vortex generator
-BBS wheels
-Accessory gauges
-Aluminum roof
-zero lift kit
