hi all bought an evo 8 in the week. needs my tlc.

need some help with tyre sizes as it has 18s 235 45 18 and on full lock it scrubs.

think the fronts are 225 45 18.

what size tyres/alloys should i have?

anyone know any decent breakers that i can contact regards a few little parts?

They are to tall that's why they rub. Should be 235/40/18

Hi, yea the profile is too large and should be a 40 or 35 series profile. I have 18's on my evo and they dont rub. Also are they the correct offset? ET?

im clueless as to the spec of the wheels as i only picked it up wednesday,

i want some 17s anyway i think... cheaper tyres too.

they are Rota P1s i wanna swap them for Rota GTRs i think!

18's give you more top end and a little extra in each gear. Not much difference in price between 17's & 18's plus 18's fill the arches better.
