Has the fault been investigated, as it's either simple and cheap of really expensive, if you know what's up with it you can make sure you save the repair cost on the purchase and get it some as soon as you get it

to be fair I have not yet spoke to the seller about it the only thing he has put in his add is that it does not affect the driving of the car. nice looking car tho

not mine just poped the link up for you :O)

if it stays cheap then it might be worth a punt ,not sure on the cat d part tho ? dont know much about that side of things .

i got my evo 4 off fleebay as a spares/repairs over 2 years ago and its been a great car . just needing a rear diff .

as others have said the ayc light might be a cheap fix . just needing a bleed or expensive needing a pump / diff / ect :O(

am sure others will offer some better advise later :O)

good luck buddy

very true, I think a cat D is if it has been stolen recovered but not 100%

the car looks in good shape so if it has been in a crash then whoever has repaired it speared no expense on it.

it's strange that he has not looked into the AYC fault, if it is a cheap fix then the car could be up for more money than it is

might save my self the problems and look for another one :S just love the look of it tho :(

Hear you go I asked the seller what was wrong with the AYC and this was his response

"AYC was checked by main mitsubishi dealer and the pump motor is not holding the 14psi pressure required to open the diff plates for ayc to work so the car is running without acy which does not affect it in any way. so insted of the ecu computer driving the car its more the driver skill that handles the car now. it can be fixed cheaply a refurbed ayc pump costs only £300 plus fitting. theres plenty ayc pumps for sale here on ebay but i dont have the time to do it"
