new import probs

Hi,just imported a 99 evo 6, took it to the local garage for MOT really not happy looking at it, called 30mins later, no MOT as failed emissions, no fog light, illegal front panel, cant find the ABS warning light, headlights out of alignment etc etc, can any1 recommend an import specialist or Mitsubishi garage around Southampton/Portsmouth area? Thanks in advance

welcome you dont really need an import specialist just someone to do a pre-mot check
emissions/has the cat been removed?
all imports need a fog light fitting
whats an illegal front panel?
has it got abs?
headlights can be out on any car?
not alot of work did you import yourself?if you did then you would have been expecting to do this work anyway

hi thanks for the reply, the garage that had agreed to carry out the work before I imported then turned around when they saw the car made all the above excuses which is what threw me, but since then iv had everything done on it, it failed the MOT on CO emissions, so had another garage change the CAT and plugs took it back it failed again the readings were Max CO 20% mine was clocked at 30% although not having plates the tester had no book ref and typed in year and make etc. So once again stumped as to what to do next, spoke to 5/6 local diagnostic/mapping places (Southampton/Portsmouth) explained the probs noone really interested in looking at it, if anyone has had similar trouble or can suggest possible solutions, greatly appreciated.

Should have put it failed 30% on fast idle only
