Heya folks! new to the forums! I will be moving to DR soon and I'm planning on buying my dream car, the Evo V or VI. Before I buy I'm looking for all the information I need!
I have no doubt those cars are reliable with good care and maintenance. But most repairs will have to be done myself, DR is like the jungle haha! It's hard to find a good mecanics.
I owned a Celica GT-Four 6th gen before, and before that, a Mazdaspeed Protege. I sold the celica because I wanted something more similar to my mazdaspeed and I thought of the evo. I love sporty sedans and the 4 doors is what I need.
Right now I am doing research for what to look before I buy and then what to do with the car. I don't plan on modifying it, I had a shitload of fun with my stock mazdaspeed, so I bet the stock evo will be good, except maybe a little drop for more grip. I'm a big fan of handling and cornering.
I hope to find everything I need on these forums!
Thank you everyone for your help!
